On a dark and rainy evening, the Detective takes a walk through the city streets of East London to meet his mentor the retired Metropolitan Police Commissioner. These days a lingering darkness hovers over the entire city. Crime and poverty are still major issues that are largely ignored. The Detective knows these city streets all too well. For he knows what lies hidden in the darkness.
